We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you. After years of love, laughter and unforgettable memories, we can't imagine taking this next step without the people we love most by our side.

Our wedding will take place on Sunday, the 29th of August 2027, at Snagov Mansion, on the shores of Lake Snagov, just north of Bucharest.

Order of Events

  1. 4:00 PM Shuttle departs Transportation leaves Union Plaza Hotel, Bucharest.
  2. 5:00 PM Guests arrive Welcome to Snagov Mansion — find a glass of something cold and settle in.
  3. 6:00 PM Ceremony Join us by the lake for the moment we say "I do".
  4. 6:30 PM Cocktails & Games Sip, snack and mingle on the lawn while we take some photos.
  5. 7:30 PM Dinner Dinner is served — come ready to eat, laugh and toast.
  6. 12:00 AM Cake A sweet midnight moment.
  7. All evening Dancing in between The dance floor stays open — we expect to see you on it.
  8. 1:00 AM & 3:00 AM Return shuttles Transportation back to Union Plaza Hotel.

The Venue

Snagov Mansion is a refined lakeside estate on the shores of Lake Snagov, just north of Bucharest — an elegant, natural setting of gardens, willows and water, where the ceremony takes place by the lake and the celebration carries on into the night.

We suggest staying at Union Plaza Hotel in central Bucharest — it is where the shuttles depart from and return to.

Getting there — and back

Transportation to and from the venue is provided, and we warmly encourage you to use it — the venue is about 40 minutes north of central Bucharest.

  • 4:00 PM — departure from Union Plaza Hotel to Snagov Mansion
  • 1:00 AM & 3:00 AM — return trips from the venue to Union Plaza Hotel

Parking is scarce and the champagne is not. We warmly recommend the shuttle.

Dress Code

Summer formal

Gentlemen, a tuxedo or an elegant suit; ladies, a long colourful dress in the shade that suits you best. We kindly reserve white for the bride.

A night just for the grown-ups

As much as we adore your little ones, our celebration will be an adults-only evening. Please take it as the perfect excuse for a well-deserved night off — dress up, stay out late and dance until the last shuttle leaves.

Gifts

Your presence means the world to us. As this is an international wedding, we do not have a registry. If you wish to contribute, a monetary gift toward our honeymoon would be deeply appreciated. There will be a dedicated place for gifts on the day of the event, or we can provide bank details upon request.

What should I wear?

What time should I arrive?

Guests arrive from 5:00 PM and the ceremony begins at 6:00 PM. If you take the shuttle from Union Plaza Hotel at 4:00 PM, you will be right on time.

How do I get to the venue?

The easiest way is the provided shuttle, leaving Union Plaza Hotel at 4:00 PM and returning at 1:00 AM and 3:00 AM. If you prefer to drive, Snagov Mansion is about 40 minutes north of central Bucharest. Do keep in mind that parking is scarce and the champagne is not.

Can I bring someone?

We are honoured to host the guests whose names appear on the invitation, and we kindly ask that attendance be limited to them. Each seat has been thoughtfully arranged, and it will be our joy to welcome you among our nearest and dearest.

I have a dietary requirement — what do I do?

Tell us in the RSVP form and we will make sure the kitchen takes care of you — allergies, vegetarian, vegan, anything.

What if it rains?

We're hoping for a golden August evening, but if the weather turns, the celebration moves inside the mansion — no moment will be lost.

What language will the wedding be in?

Both! Ours is an English–Romanian wedding, and the important moments will be understandable for everyone.

Are kids invited?

We love your little ones dearly, but this will be an adults-only evening, your well-deserved night off.
